So The Reno Scene has been moved from Kentico to WordPress. Big design changes and mostly a far better experience on mobile platforms. Not that Kentico can’t do mobile it mostly comes down the availability of templates and builders for WordPress that get you a lot closer to you vision more quickly and the time to learn how to extend and learn a new platform. There is still a bit of work to do but the basic functions are back and working.
New / Improved:
- Equal billing listings.
- A separate list for festivals. This section is a work in progress. It’s new and I still and discovering what it needs to be useful.
- Stages. these are for festivals and venues like Jub Jub’s where they have more than one music space.
- A new newsletter manager. Should be more readable and look like a little thought was put into it.
For newsletter subscribers, sorry about the weird date repeater error. I thought that I had thoroughly tested. It should be fixed now. I do still need to add back the other emails other than the full weekly blast. If you want to change your subscription option use the new management page.
